In this bilateral commission, Federico Di Mambro meets Godo meets Delada.
Nareg Krikorian, leather accessory designer and founder of the brand Godo Leather is commissioned by international brand Delada to create a new bag to launch on their website. This advertorial ‘Passengers’ promotes the new bag in three different colours and other fun matching accessories on social media and on Delada’s official website.

Passengers gets inspiration from Delada’s ideas of “nostalgia and embrace of modern” - as mentioned on their website - “the brand often plays with the relationship between traditional uniformity, expressive romanticism, and rebellious counter-culture. And has become known for it’s deconstructive styles, indicative of the Creative Director’s self-taught design techniques, reminiscent of her childhood playing with old suits and dresses, cutting up and sewing back together in order to create something new. Delada ultimately represents the past, present, and future.

As the photographer and creative director of Passengers, I aimed to convey a sense of nostalgia encapsuled in everyday objects, stillness and quitness of a life-journey that travels but doesn’t leave home.

Io Levante (Italian for ‘Rising Ego’) is a test shoot prior the series Nessuno and Who Are Am You I. The series is inspired by a great sense of ambivalence and analyses the coexistence of different identities in one’s mind, represented by the duality between tangible and intangible, fragile and strong, mortal and immortal, real and surreal.

-  NESSUNO  -  NESSUNO

'NESSUNO ‑ Obsessiva Devotione' is a series of self‑portraits which explores identity in Virginia Woolf's terms of Being and Non‑being. Alternating conscious to unconscious behaviours, this is a story of obsessive devotion towards our bodies and souls, religiously performed throughout the indefinite number of actions we repeat on them every day of our lives.
